My Story
The Early Years

My Start
I was born and raised in nearby Washington, Missouri. My father works in a small Missouri based manufacturing company and my mother is a public school teacher - most of her career as a special education teacher.
College and Industry

Education
I attended the public school system and graduated in the top of my class. My hard work academically was rewarded with a scholarship to Washington University in St. Louis (Wash U) where I was one of a handful of women to graduate in Computer Science. I moved to Chicago and went to work as a computer programmer. I worked for companies in marketing and later in the new private space launch industry.
Refocusing for Public Service

Preparing to Work for You
My real passion in life is helping people. I decided that I wanted to go back to school and will soon have my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Not-For-Profit and Public Management. My time is spent working with high school kids learning the skills to present their ideas, negotiate with others and come to consensus. We have a lot of "kids" in Jeff City who could certainly use these skills! I also volunteer my time with a food pantry serving the underprivileged in our area. Many think there aren't struggling people in District 110 - I can confirm people need help everywhere and many just aren't getting it. Helping people and running non-profit organizations is a natural match for public office. That's why I'm here!
Family

My Rock
I have a sister who works in accounting and two step-sisters. One is an event planner at a hotel in the city and the other is a lawyer in Kansas City. My step brother just graduated from UMSL in the spring of 2025. My step-dad runs a technology company in St. Louis. Family is the bedrock of my life.
Ready for Service

The Skills for the Job
My friends and family know me as an honest, hardworking person with a keen talent for finding the best solutions to problems. We are SORELY missing those skills in Jeff City. I want to represent you and your views - you matter to me!
